Minimum Megabyte Requirements for the Inernet

When buying internet plans, be mindful of the fact that sales people are likely to sell you the most expensive product they can. Unfortunately, this translates in a major waste of money every month if you never use the capacity what you are paying for. Knowing your basic needs is useful in selecting which plan is adequate.
  • 150 megabytes: 1 to 2 people's home use, including more demanding activities like watching Youtube videos and using voice over IP (VoIP) through apps like Skype.
  • 250 megabytes: Home use by a family with over 2 members, including more demanding activities like watching Youtube videos and using voice over IP (VoIP) through apps like Skype.
