Transfer Brave Bookmarks between computers

The Brave browser allows users to transfer bookmarks from on computer to another by way of an HTML file. This post will illustrate how to complete the tasks of generating an HTML file and exporting it (from the old computer) and then the task of importing that file (onto the new computer).

Creating & Exporting HTML file 

1. From within the hamburger menu (top right corner) of the Brave browser, select Bookmarks > Bookmark manager
2. From within the 'Organize' menu (3 dots in the top right corner below the Bookmark manager menu), select Export bookmarks > OK (to the dialog box with the automatically generated dated filename like 'bookmarks_12_31_23' and file type as HTML) 

Importing HTML file 

1. From within the hamburger menu (top right corner) of the Brave browser, select Bookmarks > Bookmark manager
2. From within the 'Organize' menu (3 dots in the top right corner below the Bookmark manager menu), select Import bookmarks > Select the HTML file
